Back in Feb of 2011, we wrote about a infirm male who sued Disneyland after being stranded on a “it’s a tiny world” attraction. Jose Martinez, 52, has only been awarded $8,000 for his claim; $4,000 for pain and pang and $4,000 for “other entrance violations.”
Martinez is cramped to a wheelchair and claims that on Nov 27, 2009, he was stranded on a float for 40 mins after it stalled, while all other passengers were private first. He pronounced he asked expel members to leave him, though they didn’t have a devise in place to scrupulously leave infirm passengers from a attraction. His blood vigour peaked while watchful and paramedics were not called right away. Martinez suffers from panic attacks and high blood pressure, that was aggravated by a need to urinate.
Suzi Brown, Disneyland spokeswoman, said, “Disneyland Resort believes it supposing all suitable assistance … and is unhappy that a justice did not entirely agree.”
